Assignees: First to Respond Wins | Assignee OR Relationship [4]

The client on tvc says "any one from TVC needs to approve, but send it to all of us". Currently we can't do that in the assignees because the step with TVC will have to have on or the other required or all required. We need a way to have approver A and B that says which ever one responds moves it to the next reviewer.

Example from KP is assigning an observation to two people, then one replys/resolves, but then sits on the other persons court and stays open. We need that item to go back to the creator when EITHER of the two assignees responds.

REVIEW COMMENTS 8/17/25 PD:

Found a few things.

  1. ~~Desktop - "Loading" hangs in the drop down while you're looking up assignees. It stays there after people are selected too.~~

  1. ~~Desktop - When multiple are selected only the first one selected shows as selected. The second is there but not visible until clicking out. (below I chose Glenn and then Mars).~~ I like how mobile handles this with the name held on screen highlighted to show it's selected while you add others and then you can deselect if they need to be removed, can we make desktop match?

  1. ~~Desktop and Mobile - Is is it possible to clear the search bar after a user is selected? After looking someone up sit there a wait before realizing you have to delete what was typed to look up the next person.~~
  2. Desktop and Mobile - I don't think it's hitting either ToDo correctly or at all of the users assigned.

REVIEW COMMENTS 8/19/25 PD:

After searching thru assignees and then selecting a assignee from the list in mobile the name drops back into the list (seemly disapears). It's highlighted still but just somewhere back in alphabetical order. Previously in my test from two days ago (and correctly) the selected names used to be pinned to the top of the list while searching through the options.
